Unit III: National Income and Related Aggregates: Definitions, Measurement of National Income (Value Added, Income, Expenditure Methods)
Unit IV: Determination of Income and Employment: Aggregate Demand & Supply, Propensity to Consume & Save, Involuntary Unemployment, Determination of Income & Employment, Addressing Excess & Deficient Demand
Unit V: Money and Banking: Definition, Functions, Evolution of Money, Central & Commercial Banks
Unit VI: Government Budget and the Economy: Budget Meaning & Components, Classification of Receipts & Expenditure, Balanced, Surplus & Deficit Budgets


Indian Economic Development:

Unit VII: Balance of Payments: Foreign Exchange Rate, Balance of Payments Accounts
Unit VIII: Development Experience (1947-90) and Economic Reforms since 1991: State of Indian Economy at Independence, Agriculture, Foreign Trade Policies
Unit IX: Current Challenges Facing the Indian Economy: Poverty, Human Capital Formation, Rural Development, Employment, Infrastructure, Health, Sustainable Development

CUET Exam Information: Commerce Stream

Question Format:

50 questions, with 40 required to be attempted.

Exam Mode:

Online, conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT).

Marking Scheme:
